The Westland P.12 - a heavily modified version of Westland’s exceptional Lysander. The fuselage was shortened, a four-gun turret mock-up fitted - along with a second Tandem/”DeLanne” wing.
It is believed that the P.12 was intended to attack German forces during the planned invasion of Britain, and interest in the design faded when the German threat did.
